Sample of Olive Oil Face Soap
Our face soap is truly handcrafted and thoughfully formulated for normal to oily/acne prone skin. Made primarily from balancing olive oil and a small amount of shea butter. Shea butter is rich, but contains a beneficial fatty acid profile that when used in moderation will not block pores. Charcoal is included as a natural detoxifying agent and kombucha for its skin nourishing and exfoliating properties. When combined they work synergistically to create an especially conditioning lather. Geranium, rose hip, tea tree and carrot seed oils are added for their antimicrobial, antioxidant, sebum regulating and regenerative effects. While facial soap has fallen out of fashion in favor of liquid cleansers, when made properly it is not harsh or overly drying and is free of any chemical detergents and preservatives. We add a small amount of caster oil to create an especially hard bar so that it lasts a long time.
How to Use
*This facial soap works best as part of a double cleansing routine. Oil cleaner is used first to remove makeup and sunscreen.
Moisten the face, neck and chest with warm water then moistening one side of the soap bar. Smooth the bar over the skin surface one to two times. Then using your fingers, gently massage the skin in circular motions until a light foam has formed. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Use a warm, damp face cloth to remove the soap thoroughly. Pat with a dry towel and follow immediately with toner while skin is still warm and slightly damp. Store bar soap in a suitable container so that it may drain and dry properly to prolong its use.
